This year, The Drang Gallery set out to pull together a group show of international artists, all sharing a love of surfing. Finding inspiration from the sea, sun and surf and the culture and lifestyle that surrounds it. Very much focusing on our oceans, raising awareness, their value and protection, we chose to support the charity Surfers Against Sewage with the profits from the show.
Surfers Against Sewage is a marine conservation charity working with communities to protect oceans, waves, beaches and marine life. Established in 1990 by a group of Cornish surfers from the villages of St Agnes and Porthtowan on the north coast or Cornwall.
We are delighted to now announce, The Drang Gallery has raised £1,600 for Surfers Against Sewage from the Surf Show.
We would like to thank the contributing artists and of course, all of you for your ongoing support.
