Jin-Woo Prensena is a professional fine art photographer specializing in large-scale limited edition prints. His focus on simplicity in large-scale displays is designed to trigger emotion and provide escape from the viewer's daily routine. Prensena is well-known for his daring aerial photography; stopping at nothing to capture the most breath-taking beaches and landscapes around the world. He has produced work soaring 7,500 feet above downtown Los Angeles, flying over the remote riverbeds of the Icelandic highlands, and suspended above the famous Faraglioni rocks of Capri.
His tactics are matched only by his attention to detail, quality and precision producing beautiful works that will evoke emotion and transport your senses, from the sun-drenched beaches of Cape Town, South Africa to the frigid backcountry of Whistler, Canada.
Raised in Germany, and of South Korean descent, Prensena has been living and working in Los Angeles for the last 20 years.
Prensena’s work has been used on the cover of National Geographic Traveler and across Architectural Digest, CNN Travel, Saatchi Art, and The Wall Street Journal. He has been featured on television and online segments across Fox, CNN and Discovery Channel and his work has furnished some of the most luxurious homes in the world as well as being used in the offices of various corporate clients. He also had a solo exhibition, ELEMENTS, at the luxurious 45 Park Lane hotel in Mayfair, London in 2017 and has exhibited at The Other Art Fair in Santa Monica in 2018.
