WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST AT THE MANCHESTER ART FAIR!
‘Manchester Art Fair previously Buy Art Fair is the largest and longest established art fair in the north, featuring over 120 galleries and artists showing 1000’s of their works.’
Thanks to everyone that visited our stand throughout the weekend. It was great to exhibit our collection at such an amazing event and chat to so many likeminded art enthusiasts. Showcasing so many fantastic artists which were amazingly received by the great people of Manchester was so much fun!
The old Manchester Central Station made an amazing venue for an art fair. This year The Drang Gallery set up at stand number 240. We were incredibly excited to exhibit a large variety of works including editions from Damien Hirst, Marc Quinn, Tracey Emin, Ben Allen, David Shrigley, Keith Haynes, Sir Peter Blake, Rose Blake, Dave White, Martin Creed, Maria Rivans, Ann Carrington, Alastair Gibson, David Hockney, Harland Miller and Elizabeth Waggett. We hung one of our walls in a stunning salon that showed off the amazing diversity of our collection.
We had the privilege of exclusively launching Elizabeth Wagget’s new series of Bee monoprints, a homage to her hometown, which naturally proved to be a huge hit.
Check out the video below from the organisers to see some great shots of our stand and even a little clip of our Gallery Director Justin!
A few of our exclusive pieces are still available at the gallery, including the very last Elizabeth Waggett Bee – It All Comes From Here, II. This piece is from a series of 4 one off monoprints with hand painted rose gold detail on a beautiful heavyweight cotton paper.
