ROY WRIGHT

"There is something extraordinary about the relationship between us and trees, the need to be close to and connect with nature, walking through forests renewing our spirits with their beauty and the constantly changing seasons" - Roy Wright

Wright is an award-winning artist working mainly in charcoal. He specialises in drawing original, highly-detailed yet vital images of natural forms.

As an artist Wright is compelled to search out and define the underlying rhythms that pulse beneath the mass of accumulated detail. A puzzle for the eye and mind, his monochromatic scenes are raw yet complex, much like the natural world around us.
