There's a host of magical things to do this Christmas near our galleries. From late night shopping, live music, carol servcies, to festive food and drink, the whole family will love the events taking place this holiday season. Here's a round up of our top festive happenings in our locations.

P A D S T O W
The holiday season kicks off with the first of Padstow's Christmas events, Nadelik Lowen, taking place on Saturday 30th November. There's an exciting programme of events taking place throughout the day, with live music, children's entertainment, artisan craft stalls, and the all-important late night shopping with local businesses open until 7pm. Don't miss the Padstow carollers and the Christmas lights switch-on from 5pm.
From 5th - 8th December the celebrations continue, with Christmas markets, live music, and plenty of mince pies and mulled wine to enjoy!
The Drang Gallery in Padstow will be open from 10am - 7pm on Saturday 30th, Saturday 7th, and Saturday 14th December for all Padstow's late night shopping events.

December is an exciting time in our newest Cornwall location. St Ives comes alive during the festive season, starting with the lantern parade on Monday 2nd December from 6:30pm. Father Christmas leads the joyful crowd through the streets of St Ives, right past our gallery on Fore Street, to the Royal Square for the Christmas lights switch-on from 7pm.
December is an exciting time in our newest Cornwall location. St Ives comes alive during the festive season, starting with the lantern parade on Monday 2nd December from 6:30pm. Father Christmas leads the joyful crowd through the streets of St Ives, right past our gallery on Fore Street, to the Royal Square for the Christmas lights switch-on from 7pm.
But it's not just the evening promising to bring festive cheer - the annual Christmas market will be held at the Island Centre throughout the day, with over 30 different stalls selling crafts and festive goodies with live music and plenty of food & drink. Plus, parking is free in Cornwall Council car parks all day on Monday 2nd December, so it's the perfect opportunity to plan a visit to our gallery and find an artwork for someone special.

Salcombe is bursting with Christmas events and activities, starting with the Christmas lights switch-on Tuesday 3rd December. Visitors are welcome to gather on Fore Street, where our gallery is located, to watch the town come alive to mark the start of the festive season. Businesses will also be staying open a little later that evening for a late-night shopping event, with live music by the RNLI Choir.
The celebrations continue with Father Christmas making his way to Salcombe on Wednesday 18th December, and carols around the Christmas tree at Whitestrand Car Park on 23rd December. There will be free parking at all South Hams District Council car parks throughout the day on Saturday 21st December, providing the perfect excuse to spend the day shopping for those last minute gifts!

Burford is the place to be this Christmas with various exciting events taking place around the town. The annual Christmas market will be taking place on Friday 29th November at Burford Church, with free entry to over 20+ stalls selling unique gifts. The market is open from 6pm - 9pm and is located just a five minute walk from our gallery location.
Visitors are warmly invited to our Burford gallery for our winter exhibition taking place on Saturday 30th November. The gallery will be open from 9:30am - 6pm for the exhibition preview and late night shopping. The Christmas lights switch-on will be happening the same day between 3:30 - 4:15pm. Father Christmas will also be in attendance in the town with carol singing, late night shopping, and other festive activities taking place throughout the day and evening.
There's also some great events happening just outside of Burford, including the Neverland trail at Blenheim Palace, the enchanted light experience at Cotswold Farm Park, and ice skating at Estelle Manor!
