This half-term in our Padstow gallery we are celebrating the iconic godfather of British Pop Art, Sir Peter Blake. Best known, of course, for his role in designing the much-celebrated album sleeve for The Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Blake’s work reflects his fascination with all streams of popular culture, with many of his works featuring found printed materials such as photographs, comic strips or advertising texts and the use of bold primary colours.
Pop down to Padstow to view our collection of available artworks, on display until early June.
